  Charles Manning Jr Commits to South Alabama  Charles Manning Jr recently transferred from LSU, where he averaged 4.2 points and 3 rebounds when appearing in 6 games this season. In the 2019-2020 season, Manning had a very soild season, playing 19 games and starting 2 of them while putting up 7.9 points and 3.2 rebounds. Manning announced Friday that he would be transferring to the University of South Alabama, where he will be joining former power 6 players Diante Smith and Tyrell Jones. South Alabama will be a team to watch out for next season in the Sun Belt, and with the addition of these transfers, and will make the Jaguars contenders for the Sun Belt title, and be a potential NCCA tournament team. LSU loses a solid player in Manning, but they have been 4-0 in SEC play since Manning left the program with impressive wins over teams like Missouri and Arkansas. Florida's Recent Struggles by Allison Farnworth

  After Saturday’s 18 point loss against an unranked Kentucky team, and a 15 point loss ag ainst Alabama last week, the Florida Gators seem to have fallen out of rhythm. It’s easy to blame these struggles on being without SEC Preseason Player of the Year Keyontae Johnson, who collapsed early into a game against FSU, but this Florida team has depth and talent that can still win games and compete at a high level. After wins against Vanderbilt and a strong LSU team in the first week of SEC play, center Colin Castleton stood out, scoring 23 points on Vanderbilt and 21 on LSU. The junior, who transferred from Michigan in the offseason and was granted immediate eligibility by the NCAA, seems to be fitting in very well, however he struggled quite a bit against Alabama and Kentucky. Tre Mann, who has shown tremendous growth since his freshman year, couldn’t contribute much against Kentucky, scoring 7 points and shooting 2-9(22%) from the field goal range.
